We need a senior graphic designer to join our growing brand consultancy. The position will be responsible for design, layout and production of multiple client projects as well as in-house endeavors. We are a fast-paced, detail-oriented, professional design firm looking for a senior designer who understands the impact of design on branding and branding on the business world.
The perfect candidate will demonstrate a working knowledge of design principles, creative application, strategic thinking and the necessary software to achieve these results. You are perfect for this position if you live and breathe creativity as well as design. Dreadful deadlines, sometimes long days and occasionally insanely-quick turnarounds don’t scare you – in fact, you welcome the challenge of thinking under pressure. You are brilliant at juggling many projects and pride yourself in your ability to prioritize and stay ahead of the game. You are dependable and can work on your own, but you also thrive on collaboration and brainstorming. You give every project you design the appropriate levels of “thinking” and “doing” because you realize real creativity is simply great ideas executed to perfection.
Responsibilities:
- Creative and strategic direction on multiple accounts, including in-house projects
- Art direction at photo shoots
- Assist with strategic direction and copy on design projects
- Design and layout print collateral including brochures, catalogs, etc.
- Design packaging
- Create, design and layout advertising campaigns
- Design Web interfaces (no programming required – design only)
