Cache Valley Specialty Hospital Launches New Marketing Campaign

Logan, Utah - October 17, 2003 - Digital Slant has been chosen as the creative partner for the Cache Valley Specialty Hospital. The hospital is currently undergoing several marketing projects to increase the strength of its brand, under the direction of Digital Slant.

Prior to hiring Digital Slant, CVSH lacked a cohesive, unilateral package of corporate collateral and marketing tools that would differentiate CVSH from other healthcare facilities. After three years of operation, marketing personnel felt it was time to focus on the brand.

Trisha Northcutt, marketing director for CVSH, chose Digital Slant because she was impressed with the firm’s attention to detail in design and professional approach to account management. After working with other agencies and seeing the difference in design quality, she said she wanted to work with Digital Slant.

According to Northcutt, CVSH faces challenges in marketing because they must appeal to a multi-tiered audience -- educating patients, physicians and insurance companies of their services. As a newer facility, the 22-bed, inpatient/outpatient hospital is often seen by both physicians and patients as a specialized option and not the multi-service hospital that it is.

Created to educate and inform, the new marketing campaign will reflect the hospital’s focus on personal care and attention, as well as its state-of-the-art equipment. Brand development will center on a style that is softer and more personal yet alludes to the hospital’s technological edge, in multiple collateral pieces.

Digital Slant co-founder and president Cami Boehme said she is excited about the project because it will allow her company to utilize its expertise in brand reflection, project management, art direction and design to strengthen the marketing for another local brand.
